Sadang Station, Seoul gopchang restaurant with staff grilling: Bareun

Bareun Hwangso Gopchang is a hanwoo (Korean beef) gopchang (grilled beef intestines) restaurant in Sadang, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk from Sadang Station Exit 10. A returning regular from their old Sadang days ordered the assorted gopchang for two, could not resist adding a third serving, and had the pre-grilled intestines finished at the table by staff, with hot bean sprout soup on the side. Writing a receipt review gets a free bottle of soju, and the mayo-topped fried rice at the end makes Bareun Hwangso Gopchang worth the extra serving.

The karai paitan tasted about as hot as spicy Jin Ramyun, so even a weak-to-spice eater could finish it comfortably.
