Beef knee-cartilage soup with noodles at Mokpo restaurant Mujinjang
Mujinjang Sik-yuk Kkori Gomtang is a beef bone soup restaurant near Mokpo Peace Square, run by the same family for three generations since 1976. The order was two bowls of hanwoo suyuktang (boiled beef soup) and one hanwoo doganitang (beef knee-cartilage soup), starting with the thin noodles hidden in the broth and finishing with fresh sesame-oil chive salad made to order. The rich, cleanly cooked ox-bone broth and the spotless dining room made this a standout Mokpo restaurant.
