Twist doughnut shop by Mokpo Station, chewy 2 days on: Namdo Kkwabaegi

Namdo Kkwabaegi (남도꽈배기) is a kkwabaegi (Korean twisted doughnut) shop on Haean-ro in Mokpo, about 5 minutes by car from Mokpo Station and across from the Mokpo ferry terminal. On the last stop of a Mokpo trip, the writer took away a Namdo Kkwabaegi set of fig, yuja (Korean citron) and green onion twists, doughnuts and dipping sauces, plus a 12-piece set of individually wrapped fig madeleines, and the twists were still chewy and tasty two days later. Namdo Kkwabaegi is a good place to pick up all your gifts in one go at the end of a Mokpo trip.
