Breakfast gukbap from 7:30am in Geoje-myeon: Bongga Gukbap
Bongga Gukbap is a gukbap (pork soup with rice) restaurant on Giseong-ro in Geoje-myeon, Geoje, Gyeongnam, and it opens at 7:30am, so it works as a breakfast stop. The order was pork gukbap, mixed gukbap and the sample suyuk plate: the mixed gukbap came packed with offal, chal sundae (glutinous rice blood sausage) and pork, along with a full bowl of rice. The kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) and cabbage kimchi at Bongga Gukbap were good enough to refill several times.
