Eel buffet in Dongnae, Busan: owner's grilling order at Songnim Bok
Songnim Bok Jangeo Unlimited Freshwater Eel, Busan Dongnae Branch is an all-you-can-eat freshwater eel restaurant in Anrak-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan. One adult pays 29,900 won for unlimited domestic Japonica freshwater eel, or 32,900 won with the self-bar of chicken neck, pork belly and sides, and when we fumbled with the grill the owner came over and showed us the order to cook it in, skin side first. There is no dedicated parking at Songnim Bok Jangeo, but the eel had no muddy smell and came with a complimentary bokbunja wine, making the value hard to beat.
