Rainy weekday dinner for two hanjeongsik at Gwanghwamun: Modam Dining
Modam Dining Gwanghwamun is a hanjeongsik (Korean course set meal) restaurant in the basement of Deoksugung D Palace in Jongno, Seoul. On a rainy weekday evening, two diners without a car ordered the charcoal-grilled deodeok pork set for ₩32,000 and the abalone tteokgalbi set for ₩40,000, a course running from mung bean porridge through perilla oil capellini to the main spread and plum tea for dessert. At ₩30,000–40,000 per person with rooms and group seating available, it's a solid pick for family gatherings or a formal meeting between families.
