Dami Sik is a Korean-Chinese restaurant in Nueup-dong, Osan, Gyeonggi, serving both Chinese dishes and hot pots. A small pollack hot pot came with pollack sashimi salad tossed with chewy Chinese noodles, and it was so good a second order was added. There's also a self-serve fried egg station, making it a fun spot to bring a kid along.
Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa One Grove Branch is an eel restaurant on the first floor of Building A at One Grove in Magok, Gangseo, Seoul. The writer ordered both the hitsumabushi and the lunch special hitsumabushi set, splitting them into plain, topped, and ochazuke portions and comparing the extra 2-piece umaki that only comes with the set. The wasabi-only style stood out as the most memorable way to eat it at Kikukawa.
