Where is Think Fruit in Hongdae, and what are the hours?

Think Fruit is a fruit soufflé dessert café on Wausan-ro 29-gil in Mapo, Seoul, open daily from 11am to 10pm with last order at 9pm. There's no parking lot, so you'll need to use a nearby public parking area.

It's a little off the main Hongdae strip, but it's easy to find. You can spot the fruit soufflé sign from far away and go "ah, there it is!!" hahaha

Arrived before 2pm: Think Fruit was full within 10 minutes

My friend and I went to a perfume workshop and got here just before 2pm — there were more seats free than I expected, so I thought we'd get to relax quietly. But the moment we sat down, the whole place filled up within 10 minutes lol. We were glad we came early! A sudden wave of customers rushed in and honestly caught us off guard too~~

This Hongdae dessert café gets fresh fruit delivered every morning, apparently. Having tasted it myself, the high-sugar fruit really comes through — the flavor is great and it looks even better 👍🏻

Peach soufflé or fig soufflé? Both are on the menu now

This is the very café I came to Hongdae for, purely because of this visual~ I figured peach season was over and the peach soufflé would be gone, but they're still serving it for now. But fig season is about to properly kick in, so I think fig soufflé is going to become the more popular one from here on 😊

It's a dessert café, but the coffee here is actually really good too haha. The weather's been cool in the mornings and evenings but hot at midday, so I debated between a hot drink and a cold one — but I wanted to chug something refreshing, so of course I ordered iced coffee ^_^ Good coffee alongside a good dessert — that's happiness right there.

The peach soufflé that arrived by mistake

We ordered the fig soufflé and were waiting, but there was a mix-up in communication while ordering 😭 We asked if peaches were still in season, and after hearing they taste-test and use only high-sugar peaches, we stood there deciding between the two — and said we'd take the fig soufflé, but the owner thought we'd ordered the peach one. So the peach soufflé came out, and we just ate it as it was haha.

Since it's made fresh on order, it took about 15 minutes, I think. We considered waiting for the right one, but decided to just eat what came out. Honestly, I love both peach and fig, so it was fine 😊

Actually, this was the first time I'd ever had a soufflé >_< My first soufflé being this delicious made me so happy — I was amazed that it could be this fluffy 👍🏻 It's a batter of egg whites, flour, and butter, so honestly, how could it not taste good, haha.

What the soufflé and peach taste like in one bite

A bite of the fluffy soufflé together with the sweet peach~ I'm firmly Team Peach, so it was so delicious! The fruit was sweeter than I expected, with none of that artificial syrup sweetness, so I really enjoyed it. I'd only just eaten a meal not long before coming here and wondered if I'd have room for dessert, but yep... there really is a separate stomach for dessert 😆

They give you cream and sweet vanilla ice cream on the side, and eating it together doubles the flavor. I'm not usually a big fan of whipped cream, but I could eat this without feeling weighed down — if anything, the cream made it pair even better with the soufflé? The soufflé and cream just melt together in your mouth >_<

Think Fruit's whole peach filled with yogurt

Inside a large peach is a generous scoop of yogurt~ do I even need to say how good peach and yogurt are together~ fruit + yogurt is the best combo, haha. It felt kind of like a nectarine, and adding yogurt on top doubled the flavor.

Peach is my favorite fruit, but I didn't get to eat much of it this summer ㅠ Getting to have such a delicious peach dessert at the tail end of summer made me really happy~~ Before it gets much colder, definitely go try a soufflé at this Hongdae dessert café, where you can now enjoy the fig soufflé at its best ^_^
