It’s affordable too~ I couldn’t quite picture how much 247ml would be, but after using it, it felt generous. I applied plenty to a small framed piece, and there was still enough left to use on a huge canvas artwork.

How to open the cap and dispense the coating agent

The bottle has a seal that keeps air away from the coating agent. Remove it, close the lid again, and then use it. Please put this seal back on after you are done too~ That way, it should stay in good condition until the next use, right?

Lift the red cap upward and the silicone coating agent comes out through the opening. The hole is just the right size, so it neither pours out all at once nor dispenses too much, and it is easy to control. The silicone brush is well made too. If it were too stiff, it could push the beads around or knock them off, but this one is soft while still spreading the coating nicely. It is a really well-made product.

Applying plenty to a small diamond painting

I tried coating a small diamond painting piece. The beads already sparkle, so they shimmer in the light.

I squeezed on the Bead Gloss liquid. Since I did not know how much to use, I applied a very generous amount. I spread it with the silicone brush so it could soak in evenly.

Did I apply too much? I applied it until the liquid came up to the height of the beads. You can see it in the photo too, right?

How dimensional are the beads after drying?

The instructions say to dry it thoroughly for at least 2 hours. At first, I thought it would finish with the liquid filling all the spaces between the beads like this~

Once it was completely dry, the moisture must have evaporated, because the beads’ bumpy, dimensional look stood out again. This is how it looked after more than 12 hours had passed~ It feels like a thin, clear silicone film has adhered tightly without any gaps.

Honestly, I was hugely impressed at this point.

I was truly surprised that there was a finishing product that could prevent both dust getting into the remaining adhesive areas of the pattern—the thing I worried about most—and the beads from moving. The way to preserve the pretty diamond painting you completed painstakingly, bead by bead, for a long time is this!! Apply a coating agent at the very end.

Can it be used on artworks children touch?

Kids like these pieces too and touch them often, and if it is an artwork they made, they may even want to apply it themselves~ So I became curious about the ingredients.
