Beef gopchang with an anchovy noodle finish in Garak-dong: Jinseong

Jinseong Hanwoo Gopchang Garak Flagship is a beef gopchang (grilled beef intestine) restaurant in Garak-dong, Songpa, Seoul, sitting between Garak Market Station and Gyeongchal Hospital. Two people ordered three servings of hanwoo gopchang at 19,000 won each and finished with both desserts, kkakdugi (radish kimchi) fried rice and anchovy noodle soup, with pickled minari (water dropwort) in garlic sauce, green onion kimchi and mustard leaf kimchi rounding out the table. Weekend evenings mean a 1-hour wait, but 8 p.m. on a Thursday had only one group ahead, so an off-peak weekday evening is the smart time to go.
