Brown summer rattan shoulder bag with zip storage: Meda Bag
In short
Meda Bag is a summer rattan shoulder bag from Korea. I chose the brown option and looked at its tight weave, cotton double lining, zip closure, and dual interior pockets. Verdict: a practical rattan bag for summer trips and everyday outfits.

Which color did I choose for a summer rattan shoulder bag?
I had not decided on our honeymoon destination yet, but I prepared a bag first that I could carry both at a resort and through everyday summer days. Between brown and beige, I chose brown—the slightly darker color I usually prefer—and it felt like a mid-tone that was neither too light nor too dark.

How were the packaging and storage accessories?
The product arrived thoughtfully packaged, and I also received complimentary earrings in a design that would go nicely with a resort look.

It came in a dedicated dust bag with a logo. Since I think rattan needs to be managed for temperature and humidity, I plan to use the dust bag for storage.

What did the brown color look like in person?
I have been disappointed by the color of a rattan bag before, but I liked this one because it looked like a middle shade between tan brown and light brown.

How are the weave and lining finish?
The rattan weave looked even and tight. Along the shoulder-strap line where it touches the shoulder, the inside of the bag has a sturdy double finish in cotton, so it felt like attention had gone into the interior as well as the outer material.

Was it convenient for carrying belongings?
Many rattan bags have a drawstring or magnetic closure, but this one opens and closes with a zip. It has dual pockets inside, which were handy for keeping a wallet or small belongings separate.

The bottom had a protective film on it. Since the bottom can get stained when I put in lipstick or lip gloss, I plan to use it without removing this film.

Would it work for everyday use beyond a resort?
I am thinking of a honeymoon focused on city touring rather than a resort, but its generous storage made me think it would be good to carry on an upcoming summer holiday or in everyday life. I am planning to wear it casually with a black silk dress, too.
