Songdo noodle spot: summer chogye bibim guksu on a hot day, Eonyang
In short
Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch is a chicken kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant in Songdo Zone 1, Yeonsu, Incheon, known for its chicken bone broth and house-made noodles aged overnight. On a sweltering day the writer skipped the hot kalguksu and ordered the summer seasonal chogye bibim guksu (chilled sweet-and-sour chicken noodles, 11,500 won) and chewy dumplings (6,000 won), and got a big bowl of tender chicken, cucumber and radish over noodles that was not too salty and very filling. For a cool chogye noodle meal in Songdo, the chogye bibim guksu at Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch is a solid choice.

What are the hours and parking at Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch?
Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch (언양닭칼국수 인천송도점) is open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30. For parking, use the Songdo The First City underground lot; 2 hours are covered when you eat here. I found this Songdo Zone 1 Korean restaurant while hunting for a good place in Songdo. It's a rich chicken kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) spot with 24-hour-aged house-made noodles and a whole chicken in the broth. Let's go~

Eating at Eonyang Dak Kalguksu, a well-known Korean restaurant in Songdo Zone 1, gets you 2 hours of parking support, so it's easy to visit. Do check the Songdo The First City parking rates too~

The restaurant is across from Songdo Food Mart, and you can check the menu on the banner out front haha.

For the restroom, you use the shared one in the building!
What are the atmosphere and seating like at the Songdo branch?
The place looks spacious and pleasant even from outside. It totally has that proper Korean restaurant vibe haha.

There's a generous umbrella stand out front, and you can check the opening hours, which are the same every day~
Inside it's roomy and comfortable with lots of tables! There are window seats that are good for eating alone in Songdo, and plenty of 4-person tables for family meals or company dinners. You can probably tell from the photo, but I like how clean it is haha.

The menu is also hung on the wall so it's easy to check, and the takeout options are written there too~

Eonyang Dak Kalguksu is a Songdo chicken kalguksu place whose default broth is slow-simmered chicken bone broth with perilla seed powder added! If you prefer a lighter broth, apparently you can choose that. The noodles are kneaded by hand and aged overnight, so it's a house-made noodle spot haha.

There are loads of phone chargers too, nice lol.
What side dishes are at the self-serve bar?
The self-serve bar at Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch has two kinds of kimchi and pickled radish. You can refill whatever you run out of, and every container has a lid, which is hygienic~

There's spicy kimchi and regular kimchi, and it's made in-house every day, so it's really good haha.

Next to the self-serve bar there are even disposable aprons for staying clean~ On the table you'll find disposable paper cups, napkins, wet wipes, small plates, a cutlery set, salt and daedagi (seasoned chili paste), everything!

Cold water is brought to you, and I grabbed some side dishes too haha.

How do you order, and what's on the menu?
At Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch, each table has a kiosk where you order and pay in one go~

It even shows how long the noodles take and explains the "pinking" phenomenon (the pinkish tint chicken meat can take on after cooking). A very thoughtful kiosk haha.

See the menu board (as of June 2026). As a proper Songdo chicken kalguksu place, the main dish is the kalguksu with a whole chicken plunged in~ There's dak-gomtang (chicken soup) for people who prefer rice over noodles, Eonyang-style kalguksu (the perilla one), and also soy-braised chicken and chili braised chicken, so it seems like a good stop if you're looking for braised chicken in Songdo haha. The summer seasonal menu has chogye guksu (cold chicken noodles) and chogye bibim guksu, available until the end of August! For sides there are suyuk (boiled pork slices) and dumplings~

- Chogye bibim guksu ₩11,500
- Chewy dumplings ₩6,000
- Zero Cola ₩2,000

Zero Cola (₩2,000), because a cold fizzy drink is a must~

Here come the dishes we ordered~

How does the chogye bibim guksu in Songdo taste?
The chogye bibim guksu (₩11,500) at Eonyang Dak Kalguksu was sweet-tangy and not too salty, and the house-made noodles were springy and chewy, so I was satisfied. I'd originally planned to get the rich chicken kalguksu, but it was so hot that I switched to the chogye bibim guksu haha. A cold broth came out with it too~
The bowl is really huge, I was shocked..!! I have big hands and the bowl was still way bigger lol. The tender chicken comes cut into bite-size pieces!

It's prettily topped with soft, nutty egg strips, plus cool, crunchy cucumber and radish,

and the bibim sauce sits prettily in the middle haha. The noodles are underneath the sauce, so mix it all up well~

Sweet-tangy, delicious bibim guksu! Maybe because the noodles are house-made, they're springy and chewy yet soft, and the sauce isn't too sweet or too spicy, so it wasn't salty either haha. Above all, the tender chicken with no gamey smell, eaten with the crunchy, cool cucumber and radish, was an amazing combo! The portion is generous too, so I recommend it if you're looking for a chogye guksu place in Songdo!

Are the chewy dumplings worth ordering too?
The chewy dumplings (₩6,000) are Eonyang Dak Kalguksu's own handmade dumplings, with a chewy wrapper packed full of filling. I ordered them in case the noodles alone felt a bit plain, but honestly I didn't know the noodle portion would be that big... so the dumplings are generous too lol.
The wrapper is chewy and the filling is juicy and tasty haha. They go perfectly with the spicy kimchi, so I really recommend the dumpling + kimchi combo haha.
Overall verdict on Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch
Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch charms with a rich, slow-simmered chicken bone broth, and it's a Songdo chicken kalguksu spot with a whole chicken in the pot~ The portions are generous, the noodles are kneaded by hand and aged overnight, and you can also try the cool summer chogye guksu and chogye bibim guksu, so it's a popular Songdo noodle spot too haha. The restaurant is spacious, pleasant and clean with plenty of tables, so it's just right for a family meal or company dinner in Songdo, and it's also popular for solo dining. A Songdo Zone 1 Korean restaurant I recommend, Eonyang Dak Kalguksu Incheon Songdo Branch!
