Sushi Doku The Songdo hours and parking

Sushi Doku The Songdo (스시도쿠 더송도) is open daily 11:00–21:00, with a break from 15:00 to 17:00. Last orders are at 14:30 and 20:15. For parking, use the Honesta underground lot, which covers 2 hours. This is my go-to Songdo place when I crave good sushi, and yes, there's a wait. Off we go~

How does the waiting list work at Sushi Doku The Songdo?

Sushi Doku The Songdo takes waiting names through Catch Table, and I hear that if you're not there when you're called, they move on to the next team. So when your number gets close, wait right in front of the restaurant~

Inside Sushi Doku The Songdo: tables and seating

Once you step inside, there's warm plum tea (maesil-cha) ready for you to drink, and even an umbrella stand~

The interior is spacious, clean and cozy, haha. There are 2-person tables that suit a solo meal or a date in Songdo, and 4-person tables for a family meal. There's also an area screened off with cloth, which looks perfect for a group dinner in the back~

They have high chairs for guests with little ones, so it's hugely popular as a family spot near Songhyeona (the Songdo shopping area)~

On the table you'll find a cup, soy sauce, individually wrapped chopsticks, a brush and wet wipes,

and in the drawer under the table there are napkins, spoons, a bottle opener and chopstick sets!

You order easily on the kiosk on the table and pay all at once on your way out. The menu shown is as of June 2026.

A popular Songdo sushi spot known for neat, tidy trays! There are 3 kinds of sushi sets, plus salmon and flounder sushi sets~ You can of course order sushi à la carte too, and there's sashimi, udon and tempura sides, so there's plenty to pick from at this Songhyeona-area favorite, haha

I also took a photo of all 4 set menus: three popular sets split into the ₩10,000s, ₩20,000s and ₩30,000s, plus a kids' set. Have a look~

What comes with the Premium Sushi Set (₩25,900) at Sushi Doku The Songdo?

For ₩25,900, the Premium Sushi Set comes with 10 pieces of sushi (flounder, red sea bream, salmon, squid, northern pink shrimp, akami (lean tuna), red shrimp, snow crab meat, eel and ankimo (monkfish liver)), plus half-size udon, tempura, salad and truffle chawanmushi (steamed egg custard).

One set is already generous, and with two of them the table was totally full~

You get the must-have sushi sides, pickled scallions (rakkyo) and pickled ginger, plus a fresh salad to cleanse the palate, and the truffle chawanmushi with its faint truffle aroma! The bouncy, soft texture is a work of art, and there's shrimp and ginkgo nuts inside, haha

The half udon in the Premium Sushi Set has a cute Nemo-shaped fish cake in it! Even as a half portion it's generous, the noodles are springy and the broth is clean and light~

Fried shrimp and karaage

It would be a shame to skip the tempura, and it's a smart touch in this Songdo sushi set, haha

There's crispy fried shrimp and 2 pieces of karaage (Japanese fried chicken)! I always want fried food with sushi, but a side order is often too much to finish, so it's great that the set gives you just the right amount, haha

The 10 pieces in the Premium Sushi Set are all different, which makes eating them fun and you can feel the freshness, haha

• Flounder sushi that's soft to chew, not tough
• Snow crab meat sushi with plenty of meat
• Northern pink shrimp, sweet with a chewy texture
• Soft eel sushi brushed with a well-balanced sauce
• Rich, melty ankimo sushi, generously topped
• Soft salmon sushi with very large slices of fish
• Flounder fin topped with ankimo for extra richness
• Ankimo sushi with no fishy smell

Sushi Doku The Songdo: final verdict

Sushi Doku The Songdo is fresh thanks to 100% live sushi, and the sets, with salad, chawanmushi, tempura and udon, are hugely popular. It's a Songdo date spot, a solo-meal spot and a family restaurant, and a place where you do need to wait.

It's right next to Songhyeona at Honesta, so it's perfect for lunch after shopping~ Even when they're busy the staff are so kind that we had a really pleasant meal. Recommended, recommended, this Songdo sushi spot~
