Lightweight summer crossbody bag: Meda Straw Ribbon Rattan Bag

I used the Meda Straw Ribbon Rattan Bag as a bag that suited a summer resort. It can be worn crossbody and was a good size for packing plenty of things.

How big and heavy is it?

It measures 29 cm wide, 27 cm high, and 10 cm deep, and weighs 330 g. It is quite roomy, but it felt light when I picked it up.

It comes in brown and ivory, and I chose ivory. The bright color felt like a good match for spring and summer outfits or a resort atmosphere.

Can it be worn as both a shoulder bag and a crossbody?

The strap length can be adjusted to suit your height or build. I liked being able to change the length and use it as either a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag.

What were the price and included extras like?

At the time of the original post, it was in the low ₩20,000 range, and a keyring came with the bag. The design gave a summer feel without being too flashy, so the price did not feel burdensome.

I liked the design for the price, and it did not look cheap. Above all, I barely noticed the bag's own weight while wearing it.

Do items slip out through the weave?

The weave felt sturdy. It had an airy look on the outside while still being convenient for carrying things around.

There is a lining fabric on the inside, so I worried less about items poking out through the weave. The opening also has a zipper, so you can close it and keep what is inside from being exposed.

What made it good for outings or travel?

When I take an expensive bag on an overseas trip, I end up worrying about the bag and find it hard to focus on the trip. That is why I also look at whether a travel bag feels affordable.

This bag had plenty of room for the things I need when going out, and I liked that my shoulders did not feel uncomfortable while moving around.

It was a bag that was easy to wear comfortably. I had thought of it as a summer resort bag, but I especially liked its light feel and storage space.
