Dog-friendly restaurant in Gangdong, Seoul: fried chicken at Feast
In short
Feast Olympic Park (피스트 올림픽공원) is a dog-friendly restaurant on Yangjae-daero 81-gil in Gangdong, Seoul, near Dunchondong Station and Olympic Park Station. On a rainy evening the writer sat on the Feast terrace with her husband and their dog and ordered tongtongdak (whole fried chicken made with a size-8 chicken), a sirloin steak pastry pizza, fresh lemonade and somaek (soju mixed with Cass beer). The crispy tongtongdak and the sirloin-and-pastry pizza made Feast Olympic Park an easy recommendation for a date or a family get-together.

I visited Feast Olympic Park, a great restaurant near Olympic Park where dogs are welcome too! The food and the atmosphere were both so good that it's a perfect date spot~
Where is Feast Olympic Park, and what are the hours and parking?

- Corkage: available (free)
- High chairs available
- Pets welcome
It's near Dunchondong Station and Olympic Park Station, so it's easy to get to. If the weather had been nice, I was planning to eat and then stroll around Olympic Park with my pup, but sadly it rained, so we skipped the walk T_T
Feast has group seating, so I hear you can hold all kinds of gatherings or private-party bookings here! It's clean and the interior is pretty, so it'd be nice for a special occasion~
Can you bring your dog into Feast?
Dogs are welcome at Feast Olympic Park. There are no restrictions on the outdoor terrace, and if you eat inside you need to bring a carrier, so keep that in mind! Eating outside seemed fine for us, so we took a seat on the outer terrace.
It was evening, but the sun sets late so it wasn't fully dark yet, and they turned on the lights for us~ With the lighting, the mood got even better haha
What's the interior of Feast Olympic Park like?
The first thing that caught my eye as soon as I walked into Feast was the gorgeous chandeliers. The black chandelier and crystal lights together made the place feel so upscale and chic!
The ceilings are high and the space is wide, so you can enjoy a meal in a relaxed setting without feeling cramped. Mirrors are placed here and there, which makes the space look even bigger~ It felt a bit like a hotel banquet hall or a brunch café.
The whole place is glamorous yet tidy, so it seemed like a good fit for family gatherings, dates or anniversary meals. The interior is so pretty that even casual photos seem to come out nicely???

What's on the menu at Feast?
The menu at Feast was super varied: steak, brunch, pizza, pasta, salad, meat pie, coffee and dessert, plus wine, champagne and highballs. They also sell a big pork cutlet (wangdonggas) at weekday lunch, so it'd be good for a cutlet lunch too~ It's also nice that a group with different tastes can all find something!
I'd also heard Feast is a cheesecake hotspot, and the description says it's made with top-quality fresh cream and cheese! Next time I'll have to go try the cheesecake~

What we ordered at Feast Olympic Park
- Sirloin steak pastry pizza
- Tongtongdak (whole fried chicken)
- Fresh lemonade
- 2 somaek (soju-beer mix) Cass

You can't have chicken and pizza without something fizzy!!! I went for the fresh lemonade and my husband picked the somaek Cass. It had been hot for ages, but the rain brought the temperature down, so it was perfect for eating on the terrace haha. True to its name, the lemonade is made with real lemon, and the lemon aroma and tartness were no joke~

The cutlery came in a pretty wooden case haha
How does Feast's tongtongdak taste? Even the breast isn't dry
Feast's tongtongdak uses a size-8 chicken, so it was quite big~ The color of the batter was just right and you could see the crunch at a glance.
They gave us tongs and scissors, so we started by cutting it into bite-size pieces!!
Even on its own it was seasoned through, and the batter was crispy with a nutty flavor. Chicken breast is the part I usually avoid because it's dry, but this wasn't dry at all! My husband and I ate it going "How is it not dry?" lol
The dipping sauce for the tongtongdak was a triple combo of sweet, spicy and salty, and it really lifted the chicken?! I was so curious about the sauce recipe lol
How does the sirloin steak pastry pizza taste?
The sirloin steak pastry pizza was loaded with toppings: nicely cooked sirloin (salchi-sal), arugula, tomato, cheese and more. The pastry dough came cut into easy pieces.
It uses pastry dough instead of regular pizza dough, so the crispy texture from the very first bite was really great.

The sirloin on top was grilled moderately rare, so it was still juicy. It was tender to chew and you could really taste the beef~ Plenty of nutty cheese added a salty savoriness, and the arugula and cherry tomatoes cut the richness, so I never got tired of it until the end.

In particular, the buttery flavor of the crispy pastry went really well with the moist sirloin, and it felt like eating steak and pizza at the same time, which I loved!! If you like meat, definitely give it a try~
Is Feast Olympic Park worth going back to?
If you're looking for a comfortable place to eat near Olympic Park, Feast Olympic Park is worth a visit! Next time I'm in the area, I'll stop by for chicken and beer~
