Paju Heyri noodle restaurant: hangover doenjang guksu, Cheonje Guksu
Cheonje Guksu is a noodle and suyuk (boiled pork) restaurant on Saeori-ro in Tanhyeon-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi, near Heyri. Three adults shared a single serving of suyuk, bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles), doenjang guksu (soybean-paste noodle soup) and janchi guksu (banquet noodles) for about 30,000 won, and the doenjang guksu broth was a proper hangover cure after a heavy night. With a side-dish self-bar and floor seating, Cheonje Guksu is an easygoing neighborhood lunch spot.
