Jeongja-dong Korean BBQ: eel and hanwoo short rib at Mansuheon Jeongja
Mansuheon Jeongja is an eel and Korean beef charcoal-grill restaurant on the 2nd floor of Baekgung Plaza 2 in Jeongja-dong, Seongnam. Two mothers of high school seniors met at Mansuheon Jeongja and ordered salt-grilled eel, 1++ grade No. 9 hanwoo short rib meat and octopus with water dropwort, grilling everything over charcoal. The eel tasted clean and light while the short rib was juicy, and alternating between the two made a comforting restorative meal before the college entrance exam.
