Susan Jang (수산장) Gojan branch is a seafood izakaya with live tanks, just up from the tuna street in Gojan-dong, Ansan. A group of friends ordered live shrimp sashimi at 26,000 won, 8-minute steamed blue crab at 28,500 won, the seasonal seafood platter special at 59,000 won, ankimo with crackers and Shin Ramyun at 6,000 won, and asked for the shrimp heads to be grilled again in butter. With gizzard shad thrown in free, this autumn spread at Susan Jang delivered on both value and sashimi quality.
