Large Uijeongbu café with a wood-chip forest walking path: Forerest
Forerest is a large garden-style café in Nogyang-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi. Inside the tall gabled-roof hall, Forerest serves a 16-hour aged chocolate Basque cheesecake, which we paired with an iced americano and an iced vanilla latte before walking the wood-chip path around the outdoor lawn. The route from dessert indoors straight out to the garden works beautifully, and Forerest stays open until midnight, so it doubles as a night café.
