During a packed lunch hour, the writer ordered the With Brunch Best set for two and paid 35,100 won for a ricotta house salad, arugula arrabbiata pasta, a spicy perilla bulgogi sandwich, an ade and a coffee. Is Withwich in Guwol-dong a brunch spot with easy parking?

Withwich has a really big parking lot in the building, so parking is easy, and you get plenty of parking time too. I came because I'd heard it was a great pasta place in Guwol-dong, but it turns out Withwich does everything well, from salads to sandwiches, not just pasta. Let me introduce this Guwol-dong, Incheon brunch spot ~

How good must the pizza, sandwiches and pasta be to earn a Blue Ribbon? I parked easily and headed into Withwich, and the entrance already gives off serious great-restaurant vibes.

Withwich at lunchtime: atmosphere and crowd

I visited Withwich at lunchtime and it was full, so I barely got the last remaining seat. The place is huge and comfortable, which I liked. There's even a sign at the entrance, very much like a proper Guwol-dong pasta place.

The customers were of all ages, which made me think I'd picked the right place. Some people were having brunch alone, and there were groups of moms chatting away. With such a mix, it seems like a great spot that hits the taste of young people and moms alike. I'm going to try it too, haha!

Inside Withwich: big windows, baby chairs and roomy seating

The interior has floor-to-ceiling windows, so a window seat would be lovely, right? It was full when I came in so I couldn't take photos, and shot them on my way out. The glass lets you see outside from indoors but not see in from outside, which is even better.

There are baby chairs for people coming with kids, and the seats are widely spaced so moving between tables is easy, which makes this Guwol-dong, Incheon brunch spot good for groups too.

At Withwich you grab the cutlery you need from the self-serve bar, order, and wait. The staff were kind even though they were busy, which I really liked.

What's in the Withwich With Brunch Best set for two, and how much is it?

The With Brunch Best set for two is ₩33,100 and includes a ricotta house salad + your choice of sandwich + your choice of pasta + two drinks. I chose a spicy perilla bulgogi sandwich + arugula arrabbiata pasta + an ade + a coffee, and the total came to ₩35,100.

You order at a kiosk, and they bring a menu to your seat so you can choose comfortably. The set was well put together and good value, so I went with it.

They call you by order number, and the pasta was brought to the table. Look at the food that came out: isn't that a generous amount for the price? Drinks, salad, pasta and sandwich for two for just over ₩30,000 — in times like these, isn't that a price to be thankful for?

Ricotta house salad: the corn is the highlight

The vegetables in Withwich's ricotta house salad are really fresh, and the corn on top is the highlight. The ricotta is tasty and went well with the salad.

I ate the fresh veggies first to head off a blood sugar spike before moving on to the next dish. With such fresh greens it can't be bad, and I recommend it as a side.

How spicy is the Withwich arugula arrabbiata pasta?

Withwich's arugula arrabbiata is a tomato pasta that isn't very hot but keeps a lively kick. I like spicy pasta, and this was spicy and delicious.

The portion is generous, and the tomato flavor is vivid, as if they make the sauce themselves. It's full of mushrooms, bacon, tomato and other veggies, and after the noodles I scraped up the leftover sauce with a spoon. I think even people who can't handle rich, heavy pasta would like it.

Generous noodles and really hearty contents — it won me over twice. A woman dining solo at the next table was eating this pasta too, so there's a reason it's a best seller. If you like spicy-style pasta, I recommend this arrabbiata at a Guwol-dong pasta spot — if you go to Withwich, definitely try it ⭐️

Spicy perilla bulgogi sandwich: big but easy to eat

Withwich's spicy perilla bulgogi sandwich is seriously huge, and at first I wondered how I'd eat it, but it's wrapped well so nothing drips, and it was easier to eat than it looks. It's called spicy but only mildly hot, so even people who can't handle spice can eat it.

The bulgogi (marinated beef) is tender with no gamey smell, and tasty even on its own. Then you add romaine, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cucumber, perilla leaf and sriracha sauce: fresh veggies and well-seasoned meat, truly delicious. With the crisp yet soft bread, the combination is lovable and a total bargain.

The sandwich seems great for solo diners, and also for a group ordering a variety. The sandwich and pasta were so good that I'm curious about the pizza, so I plan to go back for it.

I took that last photo above to show the bread is good, haha. See how clean the pasta plate is? That's my Guwol-dong great-restaurant certification.

Is Withwich worth it for brunch in Guwol-dong?

I visited Withwich, a Guwol-dong pasta place, because I heard it does pasta well, and the pasta is delicious and the sandwiches are good too. Parking is easy, and the menu is solid and the prices are kind, which makes it even better.

Even the coffee was a generous size. After finishing the sandwich, pasta and salad, we sipped coffee and chatted a bit more before leaving. A place full of moms on weekdays is the real deal, and Withwich is that kind of place. I recommend it if you're looking for a Guwol-dong brunch spot that does brunch well.
