I used the Meda Bag Vintage Large-Capacity Suede Shoulder Bag as a bag for commuting and everyday outings. Since I often wear casual outfits, I was looking for a design that would go naturally with them, and I chose the easy-to-carry black color.
Does it go well with work outfits?
When I commute, I tend to reach for a clean, understated design rather than a bag that stands out. This bag has suede's signature soft feel and a vintage mood, so it was easy to carry in everyday life without feeling like too much.
The simple design went well with casual outfits such as denim as well as cleaner styles. I also chose it because I thought it would not be overly trend-dependent.
What are the black color and suede texture like?
It was introduced in four colors: black, brown, beige, and camel. I chose black because it is easy to match with lots of outfits.
The surface has a natural grain, and the color looked subtly different depending on the light. When I first picked it up, the bag itself felt light right away.
Is it comfortable to carry on the shoulder?
It is roomy, but for me it was neither too big nor too small for everyday use. The shoulder strap's length and thickness also felt just right, so it felt secure when worn on my shoulder. I mostly used it as a shoulder bag, and it was not especially uncomfortable even when I carried it for a long time.
Can you organize small items separately?
The opening closes with a magnet, which was convenient to use. There is a small storage pocket inside for frequently used items, and it also came with a mini pouch. I thought the pouch would be useful for separating important items or personal belongings when traveling.
My package also included a bonus hair clip and a doll keyring. Everything that came with it arrived carefully packaged.
Does it fit a tablet and tumbler, too?
I alternated between using it for commuting and regular outings, packing essentials such as my wallet, phone, and pouch. It easily fit a diary or thin book, tablet, and tumbler too, so it was nice to keep everything organized in one bag. The care also felt easier than I expected.
I have been attaching the doll keyring that came with it to the bag. For my needs, I was satisfied with it for the price, and its light weight and roomy storage meant I reached for it often on my commute.
