Family eel dinner near Bongcheon Station: 1.5kg grilled eel
Jangsuchon Pungcheon Eel Direct Store (장수촌풍천장어직판장) is a grilled eel restaurant near Exit 5 of Bongcheon Station in Gwanak, Seoul. Visiting with her mom and dad, the writer ordered 1kg of salt-grilled eel plus 500g more for a total of 1.5kg, then followed it up with bokbunja (Korean raspberry wine), clam noodle soup, and loach soup with rice. Staff grill and cut the eel tableside, and the roomy second floor makes it work for both family meals and group dinners.
