Nowon sushi buffet with a 5-year-old: watermelon and melon, Kuu Kuu

I went to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch (쿠우쿠우 노원점) for my husband, who absolutely loves sushi! Every time we go, we leave happy and well fed! Kuu Kuu is already famous for its desserts, but this time the desserts were especially good to me >< I really want to recommend it as a Nowon spot for family gatherings 🩷 Here's my review of a great meal with our 5-year-old~~

Kuu Kuu Nowon parking: where should you park?

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch supports 2 hours of parking. But today we parked in the building's underground lot, and it is... really tiny.. So I think you'd do better using the public parking lot across from Kuu Kuu.

Weekday dinner atmosphere and group seating

A staff member showed us to our seats! The theme before was a food party, I guess haha. Last time it was cheese!! Anyway, we're heading straight for the sushi.

We came on a weekday evening, and there's plenty of wide seating, so group tables are no problem! It's great for family meals and family gatherings! We're here for a family meal today too ><

Sushi corner: crunch California roll and salmon with cheese

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a sushi buffet!! There are so many kinds of sushi.

There's a crunch California roll too, and it was crispy and really good haha. There's one with cheese on top of salmon, and that was really good too!!

Sashimi and soy-marinated crab and shrimp

There's sashimi too! And ganjang gejang (soy-marinated crab) and saeujang (soy-marinated shrimp)~ If you like raw fish or sushi, I think this buffet will make you really happy!! Personally, I think Kuu Kuu Nowon is the tastiest one.

I piled up a bit of everything and ate it all. Everything was tasty overall. And there are so many kinds that I agonize over what to eat haha. A happy problem ^^

The 5-year-old ate the shrimp sushi best

Once our kid tried the shrimp sushi, they ate it up so well?! So we ate a LOT of shrimp sushi and shrimp at Kuu Kuu... ^^ I should apologize to the shrimp... 😭 There's sushi for kids and the menu is varied, so it's a great Nowon spot for family gatherings.

There are waffles too! They're all pre-baked, so I didn't have to cook them myself, which was super convenient. And beyond waffles, there are so many desserts.

There are salads and yogurt too. The salad is fresh and tangy and tasty, with plenty of variety.

The barbecue corner has new lamb

This is the BBQ selection. There's shrimp, and lamb that wasn't there last time, so the menu changes a little. I wasn't really craving meat today, so I only had a few wings... haha

There's Chinese food too. Personally, the kkwabaerou (sweet-and-sour pork) is so good haha, really sweet... ㅠㅠ And among the made-to-order dishes, the jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) is really good.

Dessert: watermelon and melon fruit zone and self-made shaved ice

I love Kuu Kuu's desserts so much ㅠㅠ There's ice cream and bead ice cream too!! And this time the fruit dessert is.. amazing. Watermelon, melon, pineapple and more!! Seriously so good~~ The watermelon is very sweet!! There's a new cake too and it's so good ㅠ haha

There's shaved ice too.. Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has everything!! The desserts really are plentiful ㅠ Off I go to make shaved ice haha. I finished the meal enjoying the desserts. I'm so full my belly's about to burst!!

Wrap-up: how about Nowon for a family meal?

We ate so well~~ If you visit on a weekday, you can eat at a relaxed pace ^ ^ Parking is supported for 2 hours! It was a very satisfying meal. If you're looking for a Nowon spot for a family gathering, I recommend it!!
