Mild tteokbokki for two and fried rice, Yongsan: Hyeonseonine

Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is an instant tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cake) restaurant near Sinyongsan Station Exit 6, often called one of Seoul's top three tteokbokki spots. Visiting on a Friday evening, the writer waited about 20 minutes on CatchTable before ordering mild-spice tteokbokki for two and fried rice, which came with jjolmyeon noodles, two eggs, and four dumplings as standard. The soft rice cakes and sweet-spicy sauce won over even someone who usually skips the rice cakes.
