Inside and outside the Gangseo-ro restaurant

Hekbap Kkachisan Branch is right near Kkachisan Station. Since the building doesn't have parking, you'll need to use a nearby public parking lot!

The inside of the restaurant is really spacious! There are plenty of seats all the way to the back, so it's totally fine for group visits too!

Wasabi and various condiments are set out at each table, so you can add them as you like!
Hekbap's menu and robot serving

Hekbap is a Japanese home-style restaurant, and besides rice bowls there's ramen, tonkatsu, udon, curry, soba, and more — so it works no matter who you're going with!

The food gets served by a robot haha
What comes with the 13,900-won meat-loaded rice bowl set?

The meat-loaded rice bowl set (₩13,900) is a rice bowl with pork neck cooked tender in a special sauce. The set comes with udon and 2 pieces of karaage! Even as a set, it's great value, so I'd definitely recommend going with the set option!! The karaage was so tasty haha

The toppings were piled on generously, so every bite was satisfying all the way through. The meat was tender and the sauce was delicious. If you like bulgogi (Korean marinated beef), you'll really love this!! It's great paired with wasabi.
Cube steak rice bowl, 15,900 won: how is the skirt steak?

The cube steak rice bowl (₩15,900) is a rice bowl with skirt steak quickly seared over high heat to lock in the juices and flavor!

The skirt steak wasn't chewy at all — it was tender and really tasty. The vegetables cooked along with it were also delicious, and they paired really well with the meat. The sauce itself was so good that I thoroughly enjoyed every bite!

The chicken karaage that came with the set was also really tender, and eating it together with the cabbage salad was delicious.

The rice cake fritter that came with it was cheese rice cake topped with honey. It had a sweet flavor, so it worked well as a dessert after the meal haha. I loved that the set let me enjoy a variety of side dishes instead of just the rice bowl alone!
Free amenities at the entrance and the review event

At the entrance, they even had Febreze, toothpicks, and hair ties ready. I liked how thoughtfully they prepared things guests might need after their meal!

Also, at the time of my visit, Hekbap Kkachisan Branch was running a review event. If you're interested in joining, check the details in the restaurant :)
