Pork belly with bubbling myeoljeot sauce, Dongtan BBQ: Gogigaondang
Gogigaondang Dongtan Branch is a cauldron-lid pork belly restaurant in Bansong-dong, Dongtan, Hwaseong. Ordering two servings of raw pork belly, chadol jip doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), and a bowl of rice came to ₩47,000, with staff grilling the meat, then bean sprouts, bracken, and kimchi in sequence. The real highlight was the bubbling myeoljeot (fermented anchovy sauce) simmered right in the middle of the cauldron lid.
