What is BAS Burger Seonyudo?

BAS Burger Seonyudo is a handmade burger restaurant near Seonyudo Station, and if you order a burger, the potato chips are unlimited. It's close to the station, so it's a great stop before heading to Han River Park, and on nice days like these lots of people take burgers away for a picnic! The vibe is good, the burgers are tasty, and above all the bottomless chips won me over :)

Getting to BAS Burger from Seonyudo Station, and the atmosphere

BAS Burger Seonyudo is right in front of Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station. The exterior alone gives off a hip handmade-burger-shop feel! Perfect access for a stop before Han River Park 👍

Inside, yellow and purple lighting blend into a hip yet cozy mood. It felt like a great place for a beer in the evening 💕

BAS Burger menu and how to order

Besides burgers, BAS Burger has plenty of side dishes that go well with beer.

You can order easily from a tablet at your table. Every menu item has a photo, which makes ordering simple! All burgers can be switched to a combo or set~

They also have the mozzarella cheese bars that have been trendy lately. I couldn't decide between the mozzarella cheese bars and the Mozzarella Chicken Bites, so I went with the Bites, which give you both cheese and chicken! There are lots of drinks and beers too, and you can even go for a full American-style handmade burger set with burger, fries and a milkshake.

Unlimited potato chips at BAS Burger: James Gam

BAS Burger's pride is James Gam! These piping hot potato chips are fried continuously in the store, and you can have unlimited amounts when you order a burger.

You can pick ketchup or mayonnaise to go with them, so I had a whole plate of chips while waiting for my burger, haha. A perfect place for a potato lover like me.

Free burger sauces of your choice

BAS Burger lets you choose from a variety of sauces for free to enjoy your burger even more!! Ranch, pollack roe mayo, mustard, barbecue and more, so you can mix and match. I picked my all-time favorite, pollack roe mayo, haha.

How was the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger?

I ordered the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger, one of BAS Burger's best sellers! It comes with whole shrimp, an onion ring, wasabi sauce, lettuce, onion, tomato and whole-grain sauce~ You can swap the onion for grilled onion too!

See how fresh the veggies are? Lol. I immediately thought this place really does handmade burgers properly, and shrimp plus onion ring is a killer combo. It goes perfectly with the slightly sharp wasabi mayo, and the hint of teriyaki sauce here and there made it an amazing combination.

The whole shrimp has a proper smoky grill flavor!! The snappy texture was so good, and having actual whole shrimp rather than a shrimp patty was totally my taste ❤️

BAS Burger's new Mozzarella Chicken Bites

Mozzarella Chicken Bites are a new side at BAS Burger (₩7,200). Mozzarella cheese is packed inside juicy chicken thigh meat, so I figured it couldn't possibly be bad and ordered it right away :)

The cheese steams and stretches so much, and I ate it with ranch sauce, which was exactly my thing!! I think it would be good with the other unusual sauces I picked with my burger too, haha. The Bites are total beer food, so if you drink beer, definitely order them once!

With chips on the table, sweet potato fries as the side

Since BAS Burger has unlimited chips, I chose sweet potato fries (S, ₩4,000) for the fried side. At burger places I usually pick the slightly sweet sweet potato fries over regular fries!

Sweet sweet potato fries with ranch sauce is true love!! 😭 💕 They came out freshly fried and were so good, and they're a perfect beer snack too!!!

Best sauce at BAS Burger: pollack roe mayo

Of BAS Burger's sauces, the one I recommend is the pollack roe mayo (myeongnan mayo)!! All the sauces are good, but this one is properly savory and salty, so it's great when you want a burger with an unusual flavor, and it goes so, so well with the chips, haha.

BAS Burger Seonyudo: why I wished I'd come for evening beer instead

I visited during the day, so I couldn't drink, which was such a shame!! I think you should visit in the evening and enjoy the burger-and-beer combo, haha. Next time I'll order a burger set and the chicken platter! If you're using Han River Park from Seonyudo Station, take BAS Burger to go and have a picnic ❤️
