I was craving a cold beer, so I went to Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch (월간맥주 구로디지털단지역점), near Guro Digital Complex Station!! 🍻
These days even one or two drinks add up, right? But at Monthly Beer the beer of the month is ₩3,900! Soju and beer are ₩4,000 too, so the value caught my eye first, haha.

There are so many bars around Gudi (Guro Digital Complex) that it is often hard to decide where to go! It works for a casual drink with a friend, and it is worth shortlisting when you are looking for a group bar in Gudi. Best of all, the prices are easy on the wallet! A Gudi bar worth remembering, hahaha.

Nostalgic starter snacks: Jjanggu snack and drumstick snack
Once we sat down at Monthly Beer, a Jjanggu snack (a Crayon Shin-chan-themed snack) and a drumstick-shaped snack came out first as the free starter!! They are snacks I ate as a kid, so it was extra nice to see them, haha. They were perfect to pick at with beer while waiting for the main dishes.
What is egg in hell?
The egg in hell at Monthly Beer is a dish of eggs cooked in tomato sauce, served with 4 baguette slices. The egg in hell we ordered first works as a beer snack and also fills you up a fair bit! Eat it with the baguette and before you know it you are full! On days when you want something different, I recommend a dish like this instead of chicken, haha.
Assorted seasoned potatoes with Ppuring sauce
The assorted seasoned potatoes at Monthly Beer include potato chips, wedges and flavored potato bites, with Ppuring sauce (a popular Korean fried-chicken-style seasoning sauce) drizzled on top. You can't skip fries with beer, hahaha. So we ordered them too, and they were really good!
They are easy to pick at one by one while chatting, and they went well with the egg in hell too. The snack prices are also fairly gentle, so it was a lineup worth noting for anyone looking for a good bar in Guro Digital Complex.

When we visited, the beer of the month at Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch was bottled Asahi, ₩3,900 a bottle. The star of the day was of course the bottled Asahi!! ₩3,900 a bottle, and I was already in a good mood while ordering, haha. A cold beer and a potato to pick at, and ahhh~ it is a perfect after-work combo! Soju and beer at ₩4,000 is also a big plus when you are looking for a bar in Gudi.
From a casual drink to group get-togethers
Overall, Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch was good value not just on drinks but on snacks too. It stays open late, so it is good for a second round, and it seems like a fine option when you are planning a group drinking night in Gudi.
