That day I suddenly craved crispy tonkatsu, so I searched for a katsu place and ended up here! I especially like trying a little of several kinds rather than sticking to one menu, so the moment I saw it on the menu, the triple katsu caught my eye 👀

The price is ₩21,000! You get to try cheese katsu + tenderloin katsu + loin katsu all in one dish, so it seemed like a pretty solid solo meal option. But honestly, the portion is way too much — even for a big eater like me... I got so full that I had to pack up the rest to go.

The cheese katsu was so good ㅠㅁㅠ If I'd only eaten one kind of tonkatsu, I would've felt like I was missing out, but getting to try all three at once made it really satisfying. And it looked so appetizing from the start 🤍 With crispy-fried tonkatsu served alongside rice and side dishes, it was a pretty filling meal overall!

Loin katsu: the basics done right

Such a violently good-looking tonkatsu ㅠㅠ Crispy on the outside and melted right in my mouth 🥩 You can't talk about tonkatsu without mentioning the loin. The batter was crisped just right and let the meat's flavor really come through — I enjoyed it a lot. If the cheese katsu was savory and soft, the loin felt a bit more like classic tonkatsu. Eating all three together, I never got tired of it and kept reaching for more.

The wasabi + salt + pepper combo was also great

More than anything, tonkatsu is all about the crispiness of the batter and the juiciness of the meat. It tasted even better than I expected, so I ate it feeling genuinely satisfied.

Tenderloin katsu: the lean, clean-tasting cut

🤍 And personally, the tenderloin is the cut I always want to try when I eat tonkatsu. It's lighter and softer than the loin, so the balance between the batter and the meat was really nice. Getting to try several kinds at once, I went cheese katsu → tenderloin → loin in order and had fun noticing the differences in flavor between each.

Personally, I was pretty satisfied with the triple katsu this time. Above all, I loved being able to try cheese katsu, tenderloin katsu, and loin katsu all in one order. For someone like me who has trouble picking just one, a menu like this is such a welcome option ㅋㅋㅋ At ₩21,000, it's a menu worth considering when you want a proper tonkatsu meal in Yeonnam-dong.

And since it's not awkward to eat here alone, it should work well for anyone looking for a solo dining spot in Yeonnam-dong!
