What was my first impression of the Meda Bag rattan shoulder bag?
I tried the Meda Bag rattan shoulder bag while also imagining it as a bag for a summer resort.

The bag arrived in its own dust bag. I thought it would be nice for storing it during seasons when I am not using it, helping reduce dust and scratches.

I also received earrings as a free extra. I am thinking of wearing them with the bag in summer or on a resort trip.

When I first opened it, the sturdier-than-expected weave and finishing caught my eye. I carried it often for commuting, grocery shopping, and weekend outings, and nothing came undone or stuck out while I was using it.

What outfits did I pair it with?
It felt like a design that makes a statement without excessive embellishment. I thought it would naturally suit casual looks such as dresses, linen shirts, and jeans, as well as resort outfits and market-day looks.

How much can it hold for daily essentials?
It is not as small as a mini bag, so I tried putting in a wallet, phone, pouch, sunglasses case, and even a small tumbler. The lining meant I worried less about belongings slipping through the rattan gaps or getting scratched, and the length and proportions did not feel awkward whether I carried it by hand or on my shoulder.

It was roomy enough for a phone, small wallet, sunglasses case, lip products, and a mini pouch. The interior did not feel cramped, either.

Were the top zipper and inner pocket convenient?
The opening was easy to open and close, and I could see the inside at a glance, which made taking things out convenient. In particular, the zipper generously covered the bag opening, so I felt more at ease carrying my wallet or phone inside.

I kept small things I reach for often, such as a card wallet, lip balm, and car keys, separately in the inner pocket. I did not have to rummage around in the bag as much, so this detail felt useful.

How did it feel for summer outings?
After using it a few times when going out, I found it lightweight and easy to carry, so I reached for it often. It did not feel heavy even when I carried it for a long time, and I think it would suit the beach or a travel destination, too.
