Gangnam Station pasta & steak, 2 cheese waterfalls & beet ade: Brivit

*Totally honest review* How did I not know about this place until now?! I think I'll be coming here a lot: Brivit (European Comfort Dining), a vibey, great-mood pasta and steak spot at Gangnam Station. It's called a holy ground for Gangnam Station pasta, blind dates and brunch with friends.

Brivit Gangnam Station hours, parking and reservations

Brivit Gangnam Station is open daily from 11:30 to 21:15, with last order at 20:30. There's no parking, so use the nearby Yeoksam Culture Park public parking lots No. 1 and 2.

Where is Brivit Gangnam Station?

Brivit Gangnam Station is on Gangnam-daero 102-gil, up the upper part of the café-street alley between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station. I always only went as far as the usual spot, so I never knew, but go just a tiny bit further up the slope and the hidden European-vibe restaurant Brivit appears.

The entrance alone is full of charm.

Brivit, the Gangnam Station pasta and steak spot, opened its first branch in Seongsu and this Gangnam branch as its second, starting in 2023, and has established itself as a hot restaurant in a hot area.🍝

Inside Brivit Gangnam Station: good for a blind date?

The inside of Brivit Gangnam is warm wood tones, clean and comfortable in Brivit's own style. Maybe because it's famous for blind dates and group meetups at Gangnam Station, the tables next to me and behind me were all blind dates, haha

The terrace was full so I couldn't take photos and used the restaurant's own picture instead. It's roughly a little European garden in the middle of the city.

Open kitchen~ if you sit at the bar table, you can watch the fire show past the kitchen 🔥🔥🔥

Brivit menu and tips

The menu has pictures of the signature dishes, boom. The cheese waterfall looks insane >_< The dishes are neat and easy to eat, haha, which I guess is why it's famous as a Gangnam Station blind date spot.

When you want to order or ask for something, just give this little bell a gentle shake, haha ⚠️ Go easy when you shake it, haha, it's surprisingly loud.

The self bar has phone charging, water cups, a water dispenser, napkins, wet wipes, and cabbage and cucumber pickles.

Grapefruit ade and beet ade: do they go with cheese dishes?

Brivit's grapefruit ade and beet ade are both not too sweet, with just the right fizz, so they were perfect alongside cheese dishes. We ordered a steak and a pasta, and since both have cheese I figured we'd crave some fizz, so we got 2 ades, and they matched the food with no greasiness🥤 The beet ade felt like it neatly cleaned up my mouth!!

Melting cheese chicken pasta (rosé): portion and taste?

Brivit's melting cheese chicken pasta (rosé) is a spicy, addictive pasta with a crispy, thin chicken cutlet buried under a generous load of rich, savory melting cheese🍝 I thought it would come as a finished dish, but the melted cheese sauce comes separately and gets poured over the pasta and chicken cutlet as a little performance, haha

I was overwhelmed by the size of the chicken cutlet first, and then the cheese waterfall sauce was a huge amount too. I thought about ordering one more side, but I'm so glad I didn't. The portion was so big I nearly burst after finishing. The portion is crazy and the taste is crazier.

Hot sauce and cheese flow down, and the look alone is no joke, and the cheese flavor is really.. the smell alone is dreamy🧡

What moved me even more was this chicken cutlet!!! A decent thickness, tender thigh meat, crispiness still alive, thick chewy cheese, and somewhere, in the batter or the sauce, there's a potato flavor!!!

The cheese doesn't harden while you eat and keeps stretching. The rosé sauce is nicely spicy and the noodles are cooked perfectly, so I gushed with every single bite. Approved as a Gangnam Station pasta spot, approved approved truly approved!!! 👍

What is the Brivit signature steak?

The Brivit signature steak is a ₩37,900 steak with an Aligot cheese waterfall, red wine sauce, sous vide flap steak and grilled vegetables🍽 The colors are gorgeous, and this is a guaranteed delicious one!!!

The garnish of grilled broccoli, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and corn was big and all fresh. It went so well with the red wine sauce too💕

One Yorkshire pudding came along too (it's also sold on its own for ₩1,500). It's an English bread pudding🍞 made with flour, eggs and milk, chewy when you tear it and plain in flavor, nice and warm, so it works like a bread starter.

The steak gets the cheese waterfall performance too💫 The melted cheese is laid over it like a blanket, covering it so completely you can't even see the steak. The ultimate look😋🥰😍

The mood is good, and the menu and taste are good, so I guess that's why it's a blind date hotspot, haha. You'd feel good just because the food is delicious, hahaha

For the record, the cheese on the signature steak wasn't the stretchy kind, but it had a deep milky cheese flavor, and the wine sauce at the bottom was so good and went well with the tender meat👍

The steak was cooked just right and super tender😍 Even while eating I kept shouting that I'd come back. Eaten together with the mushrooms, it's truly wild, a dreamy taste✨

Verdict: is Brivit Gangnam Station good for blind dates and group meetups?

Brivit Gangnam is a European-vibe pasta and steak spot at Gangnam Station, and a perfect place for a blind date or group meetup there. Portions, taste and the great mood all satisfied me, so I'm 200% coming back. Recommending 🧡Brivit🧡✨
