Peppermint tea and peach pastry at a Yangsan café: Choi Main Branch
Choi Main Branch is a large bakery café on Yangsan-daero in Dongmyeon, Yangsan, Gyeongnam. Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows with a friend, the writer had the wagujak peach pastry and a Mont Blanc chestnut cream bow pastry with peppermint tea (5,500 won) and a decaf coffee, then took home fig bottle cake, chestnut bread and tofu crackers. With a wide parking lot and an order-downstairs, pick-up-upstairs setup, Choi Main Branch is an easy Yangsan café for staying put and talking for hours.
