Yeon Beauty is a semi-permanent eyebrow studio on Dokjeong-i-ro in Michuhol-gu, Incheon. Five years after a straight brow tattoo left patchy leftover pigment, the writer visited Yeon Beauty for a face-shape consultation and a new arched design in a colour blended to match her skin tone. Yeon Beauty warned that the old pigment could make a full arch difficult, but the finished brows came out natural, with visible hair strokes and neither too thick nor too dark.

Study-friendly café in Juan, Incheon with Orange Dot latte: Tiny Dot

Tiny Dot is a four-floor café in Juan-dong, Michuhol, Incheon. Sitting alone at a third-floor window seat, I read a book over an Orange Dot (6,000 won), a decaf americano (4,500 won) and Basque cheesecake (6,500 won), and liked both the space and the menu. Tiny Dot is now saved as a go-to spot for quiet solo reading or laptop work in Incheon.
