Suwon buffet birthday dinner with mushroom kalguksu: Pyeonbaek Hoegwan

Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Cheoncheon Branch is an all-you-can-eat cypress-steamed meat, Vietnamese spring roll and shabu-shabu restaurant on the 8th floor of a building on Manseok-ro 19beon-gil in Cheoncheon-dong, Suwon. The writer came for her birthday with her husband, ate the cypress-steamed meat, then switched the shabu-shabu broth to spicy mushroom and doenjang chicken, and found the jjangalguksu (thick knife-cut noodle soup) simmered in the spicy mushroom broth the highlight. With fresh vegetables at the self-bar and meat that had no gamey smell, Pyeonbaek Hoegwan Cheoncheon is a place she would visit again.
