Two-octopus mild stone jajang at a Paju Chinese restaurant: Dolpanseok

Dolpanseok Jjamppong Paju Simhaksan Branch is a Chinese restaurant on Dolgotji-gil in Paju, Gyeonggi, specialising in stone-plate jajang and jjamppong with crispy nurungji (scorched rice). The order here was the mild stone jajang (medium) plus the handmade Donchitang set for 41,000 won, with an octopus add-on for 5,000 won, and the owner added two octopuses instead of one because they were small. A self-serve bar of green onion kimchi, onion and pickled radish and free unlimited rice refills made it easy to enjoy the stone-plate jajang hot to the last bite.
