Kalguksu restaurant near IKEA Giheung in Yongin: Jangwongap weekend

Jangwongap Kalguksu Yongin Giheung Branch is a shabu kalguksu (hot-pot noodle soup) restaurant on Gomae-ro near IKEA Giheung in Yongin, Gyeonggi. A 1pm weekend visit meant a 30-minute CatchTable wait, spent on puffed rice crackers and misugaru (roasted grain powder) slush in the waiting lounge called Jangwongap Sanghoe, followed by a full course of red-broth brisket and minari-wrap shabu kalguksu, whole-shrimp seafood pancake, wonton and dumpling add-ins, and perilla oil kkakdugi fried rice. Because the order form is filled in during the wait, the food arrived fast once seated, making Jangwongap a smooth, filling weekend meal.
