What is Lowkey in Apgujeong like?

Lowkey is a cocktail bar in the basement of a building halfway between Apgujeongnodeo Station and Sinsa Station. Once it passes 8 p.m., the DJ sets begin, so this is the place to drink with music!!!

We had a light first-round meal nearby in Apgujeong Rodeo, then dropped by Lowkey for round two. Lowkey has lots of cocktails and bottles too, and while we wavered over what kind of drink to have, we ended up ordering a bottle.

What time do the DJ sets start at Lowkey?

The DJ sets at Lowkey start after 8 p.m., and that's the real charm of the place! It makes you want to bounce along, you know? The interior is also roomy and comfortable.

I hear that after midnight it turns into an Apgujeong club that lots of people come to. We did a quick hit-and-run~

What we ordered at Lowkey and the prices

This time we ordered the Louis Pedriere Brut bottle (₩80,000), fourth on the sparkling & wine menu. We'd already had champagne at the first stop, but the mood hadn't faded, so we ordered Louis Pedriere for round two at Lowkey.

They served it in glass flutes and it was nicely chilled, which I was happy with. We took a corner sofa table, and while we chatted about this and that, the DJ time crept up on us~

How much are cocktails and what food does Lowkey have?

Cocktails at Lowkey are ₩12,000 to ₩13,000 a glass, which is very reasonable. Besides the sparkling and wine we had, they also sell highballs, tequila, cocktails, whisky and gin, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. Among the cocktails there are some made with Wonsoju (a Korean soju brand).

For food there are Lowkey's signature pizza and truffle tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), so I think you could skip a first round, come straight to Lowkey and have tteokbokki, pizza and beer. It's great for a drink with friends.

Is it good for an Apgujeong birthday party or girls' night?

Lowkey is known as an Apgujeong birthday party spot, and it's also recommended for girls' nights. I did an Apgujeong tour with my close unnie after a long while, and it made me think it'd be nice to hold my own birthday party at Lowkey someday.

We visited a bit early, so the music wasn't loud and we could talk about this and that, which was nice. The staff were all friendly too. Next time, I think trying a highball and the truffle cream tteokbokki would be good.

It's a basement, so does it feel stuffy?

Lowkey is underground, but the ceilings are high, so it feels open and not stuffy. As we drank Louis Pedriere with my unnie, the place gradually filled up.

I recommend it as an Apgujeong bar, and above all the prices are reasonable, so I think it's perfect for young couples and friends to enjoy music and drinks while listening to the DJ!

Lowkey set menus for a group

Looking at the Lowkey menu, they also sell set menus. Six beers and one dish for ₩80,000, so if a group comes, ordering one set would be a good idea.

Our recommended combo at Lowkey

For women visiting Lowkey, I highly recommend ordering a bottle of Louis Pedriere sparkling like we did and chatting on a sofa seat! Because this Louis is just so tasty!!! The price is reasonable too, and it's one of those no-fail sparklings, I'd say!?

Leaving the DJ behind, we headed home~ We had a great time at Lowkey. The music was so good and the sparkling was really delicious! We'll visit again!!!
