Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout is a 10-minute drive from Hajodae Beach, so it's easy to get to, and there's a large open lot in front of the shop to park in. After hanging out at Hajodae, off to Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout! Taking sashimi back to have with drinks at the lodging just makes sense. Hehe..!..!

There was a big open lot in front of the shop, so I parked and hurried in to pick up my sashimi order.

I heard the shop moved locations not long ago, and maybe that's why it looks so clean and fresh — I liked it.

Since it's so close to Hajodae, you can actually see Hajodae from the shop. Let's head inside.

Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout is a takeout specialist, so there's no dining hall to eat in. The shop itself is really clean.

I'll explain based on how I ordered. You set a pickup time in advance and just come by to collect your order, which makes it an easy place to visit.

I arrived earlier than my pickup time, so I sat by the window and waited. It was a slightly overcast day when I visited, but watching people and cars pass by, the time flew by—!

Assorted sashimi for two: what's in it and how it tastes

The assorted sashimi for two came packed into two containers with ice packs, easy to eat from. They even threw in lettuce for wraps and seaweed — such a nice touch 🤍 There was also meat for grilling, so the assorted platter for two ended up being just the right amount.

Here's the two-person assorted sashimi set. Along with the sashimi, they included seafood like shrimp, sea squirt, abalone and conch. As a seafood lover, I was so happy haha.

Eating it with drinks after bringing it back to the lodging — honey sweet! I forgot to buy lettuce, but since they included lettuce wraps, I got to eat it deliciously anyway.

I love seafood in general, and it was great to get to eat a variety — shrimp, abalone, sea squirt and more. Seafood especially gets fishy and inedible if it's not fresh. At Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout, not at all — I slurped it all down.

The uncooked spicy fish stew at Eosiljang Sashimi Takeout is ₩8,000, and I picked it because I planned to cook it myself at the lodging — the portion was generous. After eating some sashimi, I went ahead and cooked up the stew too. They packed an ice pack for the stew as well. Round two of drinking snacks, let's go~!

I bought it uncooked so I could cook it at the lodging — note that a pre-cooked version is also available! Was that a flatfish head staring back at me? For ₩8,000, the portion was seriously generous!

One pot, packed completely full! With plenty of bean sprouts and radish, you could go straight into hangover-curing mode 🫶

The stew broth was seriously refreshing, so I even mixed rice into it and cleaned out a whole bowl. Spicy and savory — the kind of flavor that keeps you reaching for more.
