Sunday dinner gopchang and dongchimi noodles: Omokgyo Gopchang
Omokgyo Gopchang Mokdong Main Branch is a 30-year gopchang (grilled beef intestine) restaurant in an alley near Omokgyo Station Exit 1 in Yangcheon, Seoul. Visiting on a Sunday evening, the writer had the mixed gopchang platter grilled tableside by staff, tried the signature garlic gopchang topped with house-made green onion kimchi, and finished with dongchimi noodles (chilled radish water kimchi noodles) instead of the usual fried rice. The dongchimi noodles turned out to be the better ending here.
