Large beach tote for family beach trips: Meda Bag Rattan Bag

How was it to carry to the beach with my children?

Since I often go swimming at the beach with my children, I needed a lightweight beach bag that could hold plenty. I took the Meda Bag Rattan Bag on this beach outing. I tend to pack a lot, so I liked that the bag did not look bulky even when it was full.

This is a rattan bag sold at Meda Bag Store Farm. It had plenty of storage space and the bag itself was light. Since it can also be used as a crossbody bag, I thought it would be useful when moving around with luggage.

The set I received also included a complimentary keychain. My child was interested in it, and I liked it too, so I attached it right away.

Can it be worn over the shoulder or as a crossbody?

You can wear it over the shoulder or extend the strap to wear it crossbody. It was a suitable size for me to carry around, and I felt it would be comfortable to use beyond the beach too.

It was light to carry, so it was a bag I would like to take on a resort trip too.

I do not have a resort trip planned this year, so I am going to keep using it for domestic trips and beach outings.

Are there pockets for small belongings?

The front pocket has a snap closure.

There is also a small pocket, which was nice for keeping a card wallet or cards separately. Small items can be bothersome to find in a large bag, so having the pocket was convenient. Rather than extending the strap all the way, I carried it lightly over my shoulder.

I also liked the bear keychain that came with it. The bear was wearing a tiny rattan bag crossbody too, so it went well with the bag.

Does it feel heavy or look bulky with beach essentials inside?

I do not like my skin getting tanned in the sun, so I went out wearing long sleeves and long pants with the rattan bag. It was easy to carry.

On the way to the beach with my children, I put all sorts of necessary belongings into the bag.

I packed sunscreen, hand cream, a wallet, a speaker, lipstick, and a power bank. Even with all those things, the bag did not look bulky or feel heavy to me. It also suited the beach atmosphere, and I felt the price was not burdensome.

While my children swam on their inflatable tubes, I listened to music and drank coffee.

What outings would I like to use it for next?

After using it this time, what I liked most was how light it was and how much storage space it had. I think I will reach for it again when packing for beach trips in summer.

Adding the bear keychain made it suit my taste even better.

This summer, I plan to carry it not only to the beach but also on outings with my children. Next time, I am thinking of packing small essentials for my two children, such as wet wipes and water bottles.
