Sokcho bakery potato bread that's still chewy next day: Bultan Gamja
Sokcho Bultan Gamja Bread Main Store is a potato bread and jjondeugi (chewy rice snack) bakery on Haksapyeong-gil in Sokcho, Gangwon. Driving back to Seoul after a Gangwon trip, the writer picked up a 4-pack of Sokcho Bultan potato bread and 10 pieces of squid-flavored jjondeugi for ₩10,000 each and ate them in the car, where the bread tasted plain at first but turned into a real sweet-salty potato flavor with more chewing. One piece saved for the next day tasted exactly the same as on the day of purchase, so Sokcho Bultan Gamja Bread works as a gift too.
