In short

Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok is a café near Yeokgok Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi, with three seating areas arranged in an L-shape. On a solo visit to Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok, the blogger sat in the quiet hall and ordered the Wunder Gato for 6,800 won, the kaymak for 9,000 won and the fruit sando for 9,000 won; the kaymak came with lightly toasted bread and a generous portion. With good coffee and equally good desserts, Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok is a café worth ordering takeaway from too.

There's a super famous café in Yeokgok! It's Wonder Coffee Bar — I'd only been to the Songdo branch before, so this was my first time at the Yeokgok main store. Quiet, clean atmosphere plus delicious desserts — let me introduce Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok, a perfect Yeokgok café.

There are 3 parking spots in front of the store, and if they're full you can park at a nearby lot. On weekdays from 9am to 6pm, you can park for free at a nearby public parking lot. It's a 2–3 minute walk, so if you're visiting on a weekday I recommend parking there. ☞ Buil-ro 780beon-gil ☜

Three spaces split in an L-shape

Wonder Coffee Bar is divided into 3 areas. They're arranged in an L-shape, with the center being where you order and the sides being seating spaces. It seems like the café did well and kept expanding into this structure. Even when it's crowded, people are spread out so it stays quieter. Actually a good thing.

The sando you see the moment you walk in to order. Amazing, right. I eat a lot of sando lately, and these were super plump with many varieties, so I ordered one right away. Besides that, there were lots of desserts too — financiers, kaymak, and more.

You can choose your beans

Wonder Coffee Bar is a coffee spot for real!! In keeping with that, you can choose which beans you'd like your drink with. There were various beans so you can drink to your taste — so good. I'm not a fan of acidic coffee, and they even listed the acidity level, so it was easy to choose.

Great seats for solo visits, plus outdoor seating

With multiple halls, there was a variety of seating concepts, and there was even outdoor seating. It's too hot to sit there these days, but once the weather cools down, it seems like a nice spot to enjoy with a dog outside. The hall is split into two — one with a big table for groups, and one comfortable for 2–3 people. Since I came alone, I picked the quiet spot haha.

The AC was blasting, but they had blankets ready for anyone who might get cold. Such a nice touch!!

What I ordered was Wunder Gato, kaymak, and fruit sando.

  • Wunder Gato ₩6,800
  • Kaymak ₩9,000
  • Fruit sando ₩9,000

The Songdo branch didn't have the fruit sando, so I ordered it here too — such a good call. I definitely recommend ordering a sando alongside!!

The signature Wunder Gato

Wonder Coffee Bar's signature menu item, Wunder Gato, is a drink with ice cream on top of a latte. You can choose between hojicha or vanilla ice cream, and whether or not you want cinnamon powder, so you can customize it to taste!! Truly deserving of being the signature menu.

The best way to enjoy it was written on the napkin. Taste the ice cream first, then mix it all together for a shake-like feel! Being a coffee spot, the Wunder Gato was seriously delicious too. Especially the combination of the soft ice cream and the coffee was so good.

Kaymak with toasted bread

And the kaymak I chose! Honestly I never got to try kaymak even during its big trend, but they had it here so I ordered it right away. It really was delicious. They toast the bread lightly too — both the bread and the kaymak were amazing ㅠㅠㅠ Next time I want to eat it again and take some home to go..ㅠ

Kaymak served with toasted bread

Piling kaymak on generously with honey is basically heaven itself. Sounds delicious, right..? Hehe. The kaymak portion was bigger than expected, so even piling it on generously there was still some left.

Fruit sando with fig

The portion was bigger than I expected, so I took the fruit sando to eat on the go, and it looked even prettier in the bright light. It was my first time seeing a sando with fig in it, and the combination was undeniably delicious. I ate it while walking, worried it would melt, and it was the best choice..

Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok, a Yeokgok café, is already famous as a coffee spot. The desserts are amazing too, so I definitely recommend visiting Wonder Coffee Bar Yeokgok at least once.
