Sushi buffet in Chuncheon with a playroom: QooQoo

My child said they wanted to go to a buffet where they could choose from lots of foods, so we returned to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch (쿠우쿠우 춘천점) for the first time in a while. We visited on a weekday evening, ate sushi, grilled dishes, and desserts, and used the playroom.

Where is it, and was parking convenient?

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is on the first basement level of Two Top City in Toegye-dong. Its address is 80 Jiseok-ro, Chuncheon-si, and the hours listed in the original post are 11:30–21:30.

The building’s basement levels 2 through 5 are parking areas. We arrived at around 6 p.m. on a weekday and parked without difficulty, and parking was free for three hours when using the restaurant.

We parked on basement level 2, so we only had to go up one floor. The elevator connected to the parking lot was right in front of the restaurant as well.

What were weekday evening waits and seating like?

I remember sometimes having to wait when I came on weekends before, but this time on a weekday evening we went straight in. The interior was spacious and pleasant, with group seating as well as tables for two and four, so it also seemed suitable for gatherings or work dinners.

Is there a playroom and other family facilities?

My child especially liked the playroom. It was not as large as a kids’ café or packed with play features, but I found its easily visible size reassuring. When we entered with our child, a staff member first showed us to seats in front of the playroom.

There were plenty of high chairs in front of the playroom, and there was also a separate nursing room inside the restaurant. Once my child had eaten and went to play, the adults could relax over their meal for a while.

How are the prices divided?

Weekday lunch and dinner had different prices, while weekends and public holidays had the same price all day. As of the original post date, Sep 1, 2026, a ₩2,000 weekday discount event from Sep 1 to 30 was also listed. The exact regular prices were not retained in the original post text.

What food was available besides sushi?

Staff kept making food at the roll and sushi station. There were many varieties and colors, which made it fun to choose items one by one.

Besides sushi, there were seafood dishes including mulhoe (chilled raw fish soup), soy-marinated shrimp, and soy-marinated salmon. The cold-food station had salads and yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), and the hot-food station also had several dishes. I also saw staff regularly going around and tidying the area.

The fried-food station had fries, fried shrimp, fried king crab legs, and takoyaki. The grill station had smoked pork belly, lamb chops, ribs, and salmon. At the kebab station, a staff member carved the meat, and we could add vegetables and sauces as we liked; my child ate that meat well too. I did not photograph it, but the noodle station also had udon and soba.

What desserts and ice cream were there?

It had been a while since my last visit, and many menu items had changed; there was also a wider variety of desserts. The display case had bite-size cakes, fruit, and jelly, and there was a chocolate fountain.

There were eight ice cream flavors, with bead ice cream beside them. However, based on the notice at the time, I understood that the ice cream station might not operate at weekday lunch. I am not certain whether bead ice cream was subject to the same condition.

There was also a waffle station and beverage stations with slushies and juice. Ube and tapioca pearls were available too.

Which dishes stood out from what I ate?

I filled my first plate mostly with rolls. The amount of rice in the rolls was neither too little nor too much for me. The bacon sushi and tuna roll I usually eat here also worked well with their respective sauces. The beef brisket roll topped with spicy sauce stood out in particular, combining tender, rich meat with heat.

The salmon did not taste fishy to me. I was also able to try sea snail, beef, and shrimp sushi.

From the grill station, I took lamb chops, smoked pork belly, and ribs. There were several sauces to choose from according to taste. I sprinkled seasoning on the lamb chops; they did not have a noticeable smell, so I went back for more several times.

My child enjoyed the sweet potato pizza and pancake pizza. Being able to choose directly from the different foods seemed to help them focus more on the meal.

There were disposable gloves beside the garlic butter shrimp. After putting some on a plate and peeling them, everyone in the family ate them well.

At the end, I brought back waffles, pain au chocolat, and ice cream. I chose lemon sorbet and Choco Bon Bon ice cream. The lemon sorbet had lemon zest, which gave it a fresh taste and made it a good palate cleanser after the meal.

After playing in the playroom, my child finished their meal with bead ice cream. On this visit, everyone in the family could choose foods they liked, and the playroom helped both the child and adults spend their time comfortably.
