Teppan bar in Yeonnam-dong for counter-seat okonomiyaki: Gusa Yeonnam
Gusa Yeonnam is a teppan (iron griddle) izakaya in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Hongik University Station Exit 3 and set in the basement of Yeontral Tower. From the dachi counter seats, where you watch the cooking on the griddle, the order was Gusa okonomiyaki at 16,000 won, teppan mala xiangguo at 28,000 won and classic yakisoba at 15,000 won. The fluffy okonomiyaki, the tingling heat of the mala xiangguo and the chewy yakisoba noodles balanced each other out, making Gusa Yeonnam a meal that never got boring.
