Weekday afternoon café in Gimhae: ham cheese croissant at Yu Yu Yu

Let me introduce Yu Yu Yu, a café near Busan in Gimhae, just 3 minutes from Gaya CC and Gaya Public Golf Club — great salt bread and croissants, pet-friendly, spacious parking, and plenty of photo spots-!

• Dedicated parking lot for 15+ cars
• Pets welcome (first floor only)
• Baby chairs available

On the road up to Gaya CC golf course, right next to Chakhan Jjukkumi, you'll find this large Gimhae café, Yu Yu Yu. Being a big café, there's plenty of parking space, so parking was super easy 🚗 Business must be good — they were even building a new building near the parking lot for an expansion opening in late August~ (but there was zero noise or dust)

Yu Yu Yu first floor or second floor: where to sit

Yu Yu Yu is split into first and second floors. The second floor has floor-to-ceiling glass walls, so the green view outside is genuinely gorgeous 🌱 It feels open and airy with no stuffiness, so I really recommend the second floor! (Though even on a weekday around 2pm, it was super super crowded)

⚠ This is a pet-friendly café, but pets aren't allowed on the second floor,, Still, the first floor is plenty pretty too, so if you're heading out with your pet, I recommend the first floor!

The interior stays true to its green concept,, clean without being excessive, with just enough lushness added — way more my style than expected! After 3pm, the crowd thinned out a bit~ (I also left around 3:30-4, since I had to go for dinner^.^)

Here's the first floor,, a totally different vibe from the second floor. The baduk-stone-like chairs are cute, and if you don't like the AC blast, there are outdoor tables ready too

And on the other side is the order counter. Yu Yu Yu, this large Gimhae café, is famous for its bakery, especially the salt bread and croissants

Of course, besides salt bread and croissants, there's plenty more dessert — financiers, tigre, cookies, egg tarts, even Basque cheesecake!

Yu Yu Yu drink prices and what we ordered

It's a café, so drinks can't be skipped, right? The basic iced Americano is ₩5,000 and other drinks don't go over ₩7,000 — pretty reasonable pricing for a large café like this

📋 So here's what I ordered: 3 iced Americanos, ham cheese croissant, butter scone~~

On my way back from ordering, I ran into a freshly-baked croissant,, it looked so crispy and warm, but the size is massive, so if you spot a fresh-out-of-the-oven croissant, grab it onto your tray right away~~

Near the first-floor counter, there's a whole bunch of Mr. Maeng figures,, I really like Mr. Maeng too (being the power-anxious type myself, I love the secure-attachment energy of Mr. Maeng) anyway, Mr. Maeng fans, don't miss out on browsing these figures

And then the drinks and bread arrived — ohhh, the coffee was better than expected, nice and cold~~ and especially since Yu Yu Yu is really really famous for its bakery, the cheese powder on top of the ham cheese croissant (=that cheese powder you used to shake on Pizza Hut pizza back in the day) was genuinely delicious, and the butter scone had that crisp-outside, moist-inside feel, good good good, so definitely try it
