Daegu wedding hall parking and lamb shabu buffet: Stadium Convention

I was curious about Daegu wedding hall buffets, so I visited Stadium Convention Wedding — here's my record of the wedding hall, the outdoor wedding space, the meal, and the parking.

A while back I visited a wedding hall with a really good Daegu wedding buffet! It's Stadium Convention Wedding. I'd actually been there once before as a guest, but visiting again this time, it seemed like they'd done a big renovation — the food was so much more varied and the facilities looked much cleaner. There was a lot here that people hunting for a wedding hall would want to know, from the buffet to the outdoor wedding space to the indoor hall, so this time I'm going to review everywhere I looked around carefully, for anyone checking out Daegu wedding halls! 🤍

Parking at Stadium Convention Wedding, plus 2-hour registration at Color Square

Stadium Convention Wedding is close to the Suseong IC, so accessibility by car was good too! Going into the parking lot, staff guided me straight to a spot, which was convenient. You can park where they direct, but you can also register for 2 hours of parking at Color Square, so there wasn't much to worry about there!

Walking in through the entrance, there's a café space set up too! It looked great for guests attending the ceremony to sit and wait, or chat, if they arrived early. There are often no good places to wait when you get to a wedding hall early, so having a separate café space like this seemed like it would make things much more comfortable for guests.

What does the indoor hall at Stadium Convention Wedding look like?

The indoor hall at Stadium Convention Wedding felt clean overall, while still having that bright, romantic wedding-hall atmosphere. It seemed like a ceremony had just finished when I was looking around! So after the guests had cleared out, I could take a more leisurely look around the inside of the hall. Seeing it right after a ceremony ended was a good way to check the overall scale and mood, and in person it felt cleaner and more spacious than it looked in photos.

After looking around the indoor hall, I checked out the outdoor hall too. It was a bit overcast in the morning on the day I visited! So the photos don't come out as vivid as on a bright sunny day, but instead there was a calm, soft mood to the slightly cloudy weather.

I imagine the outdoor wedding mood would change a lot depending on the weather, so I was curious how pretty it would be on a sunny day 🤍 Overall it's a very green space with floral decorations added, so I could see a ceremony held outdoors here having a natural, romantic feel. Especially on a nice spring or fall day, guests could relax and enjoy the ceremony outdoors, so if you're considering an outdoor wedding in Daegu, it's worth taking a look!

After finishing the wedding hall tour, I moved to the buffet to actually eat! The buffet is on the 3rd floor along with the outdoor wedding hall, so the flow of looking at the outdoor wedding space and then heading straight to eat was convenient! But what really surprised me was... personally, among the Daegu wedding hall buffets I've been to recently, the food quality here was pretty good.

At a wedding hall, the atmosphere matters to guests, but honestly the food matters too, doesn't it? So this time I checked out and tasted each dish they had prepared! There were more menu types than I expected, and a lot of dishes worth trying, so I went back and forth with my plate several times haha. There was sashimi sliced to order, snow crab, and whole tuna too — it was so cool!🤍

What Stadium Convention Wedding offers guests with babies

On top of that, there were thoughtful little touches for visitors everywhere, which I loved even more! In particular, for people attending with babies, there's a dedicated microwave for baby food, and baby chairs are available too. Weddings are often occasions the whole family attends together, so it felt good to see this much attention paid even to small details like this.

I was really surprised there was even lamb and shabu-shabu! I never expected to see lamb and shabu-shabu together at a wedding hall buffet, but there was so much more to eat than I expected that I spent a long time deciding what to have 😂 From Korean to Chinese to Western food, plus these made-to-order dishes, there was so much variety that it would be easy to pick and choose based on your taste!

And I loved that there was such a variety of desserts too, since I'm a dessert person 🤎 There were several kinds of cake ready, and a good variety of rice cakes too, so it was fun picking one thing at a time to try! You know how dessert still finds room even after you're full from the meal... haha. If you like sweet desserts, you could have a really satisfying meal right down to the end here.

Are the buffet tables and seat spacing roomy enough?

The dining area was also more comfortable than I expected! The gaps between tables weren't too tight, so I could eat comfortably without worrying about the next table, and the tables themselves were fairly generous, so it wasn't awkward to bring over food and eat several dishes together. Wedding hall buffets tend to get crowded with guests all at once, but the seating didn't feel cramped, so the meal stayed comfortable throughout. It seemed like it would be especially good for families visiting together, with room to sit and eat at ease!

Ahh, even looking back now, my mouth is watering over how good this Daegu wedding hall buffet food was 🤤 Since we'd made a reservation ahead of time, in the short time I was off getting more food, they'd set up assorted sashimi and premium beef ribs separately right at the table! There was already plenty to eat, and I was excited, but having food laid out right at the table too was just the best haha. The assorted sashimi in particular let me try one of each kind, and the premium beef ribs were tender and full of juice, so I really enjoyed them 🥹

Is Stadium Convention Wedding worth a Daegu wedding hall tour?

After looking around everywhere and finishing the meal, I felt like it had become much cleaner and better than before. The indoor hall was clean and bright, and the outdoor wedding space would probably look completely different and pretty if you visit on a nice-weather day. Most of all, the Daegu wedding hall buffet was genuinely much better than I expected, so personally that's what stuck with me the most!
