What wedding nails suit a flashy dress?

The wedding nails I chose at Naeil Didi the day before the wedding were a simple color with just one or two accents. Everyone assumes wedding nails should be super fancy, but my dress was so flashy that I actually wanted simple nails. A simple base with just one or two accents? That kind of nails!

How to find Naeil Didi in Apgujeong Rodeo, and parking

Naeil Didi is on the Apgujeong Rodeo street, on the 6th floor of the building with the Apgujeong grilled-meat restaurant. The sign is hard to spot, so just look for the grilled-meat restaurant and head up to the 6th floor of that building. Valet parking is available, and you need to tell them your license plate number before you visit.

Naeil Didi's atmosphere and seating

You see Naeil Didi right when you get up to the 6th floor. Inside, the pedicure area comes first, and the nail area is further in. There were seats for four people to get nails done at once. The view is wide open, so it never felt stuffy. Of all the nail salons in Apgujeong Rodeo, I'd never seen one with a view this good.

Looking to the side, there was a huge stock of nail products, so it seemed like any color you wanted would be there! New releases were all in too, so you won't fall behind on trends.

Does cuticle care at Naeil Didi really not draw blood?

My wedding nails at Naeil Didi started with cuticle care, and for the first time ever, I didn't bleed while getting nails done. The technician's hands were so delicate that I was comfortable the whole time. Honestly, every single time I get nails done I bleed, and this was the only place where I didn't haha. This isn't promo, I mean it. That alone already made me want to come back.

She chatted with me throughout and was so kind that I felt at ease. She also got the shape I wanted just right. My nails are short, so we went with round.

She applied a nail treatment too, and there was a curing lamp in a drawer under the table, which made curing the gel much easier. I could feel that kind of thoughtfulness throughout the whole treatment.

How I chose my wedding nail color

At Naeil Didi, you tell them the color you want and they pull three similar shades for you to compare. Guys would say they all look the same, but they're totally different colors, okay haha. The third looked too pale, so I went back and forth between the first and second, then the technician said the first looked brighter, so I went with the first!

She applied a base coat so the nail wouldn't show through, cured it herself along the way, and then applied the main color. My hands looked bright and clean, which was such a relief.

Did the crystal accent art turn out as I wanted?

Naeil Didi looked at the wedding nail art photo I brought and recreated it down to every single crystal. She studied the art I wanted in detail and did it carefully, piece by piece. Not one crystal was off haha

The accents were so pretty and exactly the feel I wanted. I wanted it filled all the way to the cuticle, so she continued with smaller crystals there and carefully checked that nothing would snag.

The finished Naeil Didi wedding nails were a clean color with a crystal accent on each nail. Seeing the result, it was really the clean look I wanted with one accent each, and I loved it. I kept staring at them all the way home in the car haha

They're wedding nails that aren't too flashy but still feel special. With these pretty hands, all that's left is to get married haha

Lots of new summer colors were in too, so after the wedding I'm thinking of switching to something cool or tropical!
