Byway Bakers Byeollae Branch is a bakery in Namyangju, Gyeonggi, beside Byeollae Byeolgaram Station Exit 4. At 5 PM, the golden egg tart and Chodang sweet-corn salt bread were still available, and both were exactly my taste. Verdict: egg tart fans will not regret coming here.
Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters, Lotte Department Store Nowon is a coffee café in Nowon, Seoul. We ordered its signature coconut coffee and a blueberry yogurt while taking a shopping break, with a weekday-afternoon wait and a choice of beans. Verdict: a refreshing, satisfying stop when shopping leaves you needing a boost.
Jjuksami Cheonho Main Branch is a Korean restaurant in Gangdong, Seoul, serving fire-charred jjukkumi and rich cheese plates. We visited with our baby and ordered two portions of jjukkumi, pork belly, and shrimp, plus a 2,000 won Rich Gold Cheese Plate and cheese rice cakes. Verdict: Jjuksami Cheonho Main Branch is a great pick when you want spicy jjukkumi with smoky flavor and cheese.
