Where is Burger924 in Yangpyeong, and is there parking?

Burger924 (수제버거924) Yangpyeong main branch is a handmade burger restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building on Jungangno 167beon-gil in Yangpyeong-eup, with free parking in front. We stopped by on a weekend family outing to Yangpyeong. It has already been featured on several TV shows, and apparently the mukbang YouTuber Hiba came to eat here this time too. My wife and I both love burgers and were really happy with this place, so I wanted to introduce it. Yangpyeong is famous as a drive course, and it was nice to enjoy a good meal along the way.

Burger924 is on the 2nd floor of the building. There is parking in front, which made visiting by car easy. Yangpyeong is an area where getting around by car is easier than by public transport, so parking matters, and I was happy with it.

Atmosphere inside Burger924

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the large panoramic window. With so much natural light, the whole place felt bright and pleasant, and the window seats looked great for eating while watching the scenery outside. We went during a holiday period, so it was really crowded. There were lots of families in particular, so it seems many people stop here for a meal during a Yangpyeong trip.

How do you order?

You order at a kiosk, and only card payment is accepted. The rule is also one menu item per person. There was a sink so you can wash your hands before eating, and hygiene gloves were provided too, which felt thoughtful.

Which TV shows featured Burger924?

Burger924 has been introduced on many shows, including Sikgaek Namnyeo, Namgyeoseo Mwohage, Idol Tour and Saengbangsong Today. Even before going in, its TV appearances stood out. You could feel it already has a reputation as a Yangpyeong favorite.

Inside there was also a notice about a visit by the mukbang YouTuber Hiba, saying the video would be released on June 21, which made me look forward to it even more. She visited just a few days before we did, so that was fun to see, haha.

Burger924 has a whopping 36 burgers, so you can choose to suit your taste. The variety of the menu was one of the things that impressed me most.

How does the Yangpyeong Hanwoo Pa Bulgogi Burger set taste?

The Yangpyeong Hanwoo Pa Bulgogi Burger had a really unique build: a Heungguk rice bread bun, a 150g Yangpyeong hanwoo (Korean beef) patty, cheddar, Monterey Jack, fried scallions, garlic chips, grilled shishito peppers, sesame mayo sauce and more.

First, the color of the Heungguk rice bread bun was pretty, great for photos. Above all, the bun itself was soft and not heavy. On the first bite, the combination of bulgogi sauce and patty was excellent. The meat flavor came through richly with every bite, and the shishito peppers in between added a spicy kick that cut the richness. I could see why it's a signature item. A great Yangpyeong handmade burger.

The sets come with fries and a drink. I chose a bottled Coke and my wife chose Coke Zero.

Is the Hawaiian Special Burger set just sweet?

The Hawaiian Special Burger has a 150g beef patty with grilled pineapple, bacon, cheddar, onion fries, jalapeños and hot BBQ sauce, and it was the one my wife especially loved.

Hawaiian burgers usually lean strongly sweet, but the sauce on Burger924's Hawaiian Special was spicier than I expected, which stood out. The sweet pineapple, juicy patty and slightly spicy BBQ sauce balanced each other, and it was the kind of taste you keep reaching for. My wife actually said she liked this burger better.

Fries in the set

The burgers were good, but the fries that came with the set were satisfying too. They were crispy, like freshly fried, and seasoned just right, so they went well with the burger. It felt like they cared about the side dishes as well, which made me even happier.

Is it okay with a baby and a stroller? (The downsides)

Burger924 Yangpyeong main branch is on the 2nd floor with only stairs and no elevator, so we, with a 100-day-old baby, had to carry the stroller up. It wasn't just us; other families were carrying their strollers up too. I also didn't see any baby chairs, so that's worth knowing.

Burger924 overall verdict

Burger924 is a place where you can see why it has been featured on TV so many times. The varied menu, good ingredients and clean, tidy interior all made for high satisfaction. It's not cheap, but considering the size, ingredients and taste of the burgers, the price was easy to accept.
