Gwacheon duck BBQ, 40-min weekend wait near Seoul Land: Deo Chadol
Deo Chadol is a duck chadol (thinly sliced duck brisket) BBQ and duck jumulleok (spicy stir-fried duck) restaurant on Dwitgol 2-ro in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi. On a weekend evening at 7pm, the writer waited 40 minutes before getting seated and ordered the Deo Chadol couple course (₩55,000) with 200g duck chadol BBQ, 300g raw duck jumulleok, doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), and self-made fried rice. Worth the wait, and a solid pick for a family meal after visiting Seoul Land or the National Science Museum.
